Antimicrobial Prescribing in Primary Care – a 2020 Update

In conjunction with World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) this year, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Groups (BOB CCGs) are joining forces to deliver presentations on antibiotic prescribing in primary care; to increase awareness of prescribers on antimicrobial resistance and to promote continuous good antimicrobial stewardship in these challenging
times.

Topics include:

  • SCAN guidance and Microguide
  • Primary care prescribing data
  • Antimicrobial audits/ projects in BOB CCGs
  • WAAW resources and toolkit
  • Health economy i.e. C Diff infections in Oxfordshire CCG
  • Links with the acute trusts

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
