The workshop is an innovative, multi-faceted learning session that draws on film and simulated practical activities. The workshop is designed to build your confidence and skills in implementing medicines optimisation strategies for older people in the care home setting. You will have the unique opportunity to view a film that will bring the topic to life and involve you in observing day-to-day practice in a care home. You will also develop practical skills in supporting increased resilience of care homes to medicines safety issues and in medicines reconciliation for new residents.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take away a set of practical tools and skills to transform use of medicines in your care home.
