CPPE Falls Prevention Workshop

Falls and fall-related injuries are a common problem for older people. 30% of people older than 65 fall at least once a year, according to NICE clinical guideline 161 “Falls in older people: assessing risk and prevention” (www.nice.org.uk/guidance/cg161).  This CPPE workshop aims to develop knowledge and skills to help pharmacy healthcare professionals manage and optimise care for patients who are at risk of having a fall.
