CPPE GP pharmacist training pathway induction residential

19th September 2016 12.00-19.30

Warbrook House, The Street, Eversley, Hook, RG27 0PL

The aim of the general practice pharmacist training pathway induction residential is to provide an intensive introduction to the core skills required to meet the standards for the general practice (GP) pharmacist role.

The four-day induction residential brings together a cohort of 40 pharmacist general practice trainees. The residential introduces the general practice pharmacist training pathway and includes sessions on multi-morbidity and polypharmacy, consultation skills, hands-on medical examination techniques, developing leadership and personal development planning for continued pathway study.

Bringing pharmacists together on an induction residential creates the opportunity for networking and builds strong collegiality to achieve success as part of the national NHS England scheme.

Before you book on the induction residential you must enrol on the General practice pharmacist training pathway GPPTP.

CPPE is working with NHS England and Health Education England as a delivery partner to provide the General practice pharmacist training pathway (GPPTP). Find out more about the GPPTP.

Induction residentials are open to pharmacists employed in NHS England general practice pharmacist pilot sites.
