Our June contractor workshop will feature a consultant presentation on HRT & Menopause by Dr Azmy Birdi.
Dr Birdi will discuss the different stages of menopause and how to treat each stage, how to choose between all the treatment options available and share practical case studies.

Dr Birdi trained as a career obstetrician & gynaecologist and became an MRCOG (Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists) in 1997. After working as a gynaecologist in hospital medicine, she moved into general practice and has worked as a partner in practice for over 20 years. Azmy has always had a passion for teaching and education, having been a lecturer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology previously and has been a post graduate educator since 2003. She has always maintained her interest and stayed up to date with Women’s Health, having been the gynaecology lead for the federation of Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead practices.
In 2009, Dr Birdi was awarded the FRCOG (Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists) and in July 2021, she was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health in recognition of her work in the field of Women’s Health She is an accredited British Menopause Society Specialist and Menopause Trainer. Dr Birdi lectures both in the NHS and in corporate/workplace settings. |
