Pre-registration Pharmacist Tutor Training Workshop

Ideal for any pharmacist new to tutoring or needing a refresher.  There are two workshops (you need to attend both):

Workshop 1 – to help you set the scene for an excellent training experience, focussing on setting up an effective induction, a personalised action plan and providing guidance on giving and receiving feedback.

Workshop 2 – to help you develop your skills further in how to support your trainee throughout the year – assessing evidence, reviewing progress against action plans and identifying if your trainee requires some extra support, and where you can find further support and guidance.

This event will provide support to new and existing tutors and ensure you are up to date to provide the best possible training experience and opportunities for your trainee. It also helps you to meet the Oriel quality standards for pre-reg recruitment.

In addition:

This a great opportunity to provide evidence for one of your planned CPD entries for revalidation.  One of the other fantastic benefits is your networking with other local pre-registration tutors to provide valuable peer support and possibly lead to opportunities for peer discussion for revalidation in future years.
