Anti-counterfeiting measures for medicinal products will affect pharmacists working in hospital, community pharmacy, primary care, GP practices and those in the pharmaceutical industry and wholesaling. This meeting will describe how this will impact your practice. A wide range of changes to IT systems, packaging of medicines including tamper evident seals and the issue of unique numbers for individual packs will be required, as will the management and accessibility of the repositories system.

Sue Kilby, our speaker has been leading on the implementation of the FMD medicine safety features for NHS England. She has worked across the NHS, in community pharmacy and also for several pharmaceutical companies and consultancies. Therefore, she understands the different pharmacy sectors and the impact FMD implementation will have on them.
